What Does the “FM F0” Configuration Mean?

• FM (Floor Mounted): Uses a surface-mounted footplate with minimal fixing depth, making it 100% safe for floors with underfloor heating.
• F0 (Free Swing): Opens up to 150° in both directions and automatically returns to a flush 0° closed position—keeping your doors neatly shut without a 90° hold-open latch.

Selection Guide: Pro E vs. Standard Pro & F0 vs. F90

1. Pivotica Pro E vs. Standard Pivotica Pro:

   • Pro E (This Product): Includes magnetic upper axis technology and a smaller upper pivot head for simpler door preparation and significantly easier alignment when hanging heavy doors.

   • Standard Pro: Uses traditional mechanical upper pivot hardware.

2. F0 (Free Swing) vs. F90 (Hold Open):

   • F0 (This Product): Always self-closes back to 0°. Ideal for utility spaces, ensuite entries, or feature walls where doors should remain closed when not in active use.

   • F90: Features a mechanical hold-open catch at +90° and -90°.

3. FM (Floor Mounted) vs. BI (Built-In):

   • FM (This Product): Installs directly on top of finished flooring with a 13mm bottom clearance. Recommended for retrofits, timber floors, or slabs with underfloor heating.

   • BI: Embedded floor plate recessed into subfloors prior to finishing for a tighter 5-11mm bottom clearance.
